After-School Care
Elementary & Middle School Program
Children in 3rd–7th grade who attend Roanoke City Public Schools are eligible to participate in our elementary and middle school program. Students receive individual tutoring and homework support and are guaranteed at least 45 minutes Monday–Thursday to complete homework, work on projects, and study for tests.
In addition to academic support, students participate in a daily enrichment activity designed to support personal growth and learning beyond the classroom. Enrichment focuses on building self-esteem, exploring new ideas, service learning, healthy life skills, and more.
On Fridays, students often take part in field trips that extend learning into the community. These experiences may include visits to local museums, farmers markets, athletic activities, and other educational outings.
High School Program - NEW!
Students in 8th–12th grade who attend Roanoke City Public Schools are eligible to participate in our high school program. This program blends academic tutoring with career exploration, college counseling, and life-skills development to support students as they prepare for life after graduation.
Students receive academic support, mentoring, and service-learning opportunities, along with college visits, wellness education, risky behavior prevention programming, and positive behavior modeling designed to promote long-term success.
